we are…
At Fosterly Friends we are a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting foster and adoptive families by providing one of life’s simplest yet most meaningful comforts: a home-cooked meal. We believe that families who open their hearts and homes deserve support, and our mission is to ease their daily load so they can focus on what matters most—caring for and helping children from challenging situations heal. Every service we offer is driven by compassion, and support for foster families. In addition, 100% of every donation goes directly toward the preparation and delivery of meals to our registered families—never toward overhead or administrative costs.

Sign up for the Meal Schedule
If you're a foster or adoptive family in the DFW or Pittsburgh area, Fosterly Friends would love to support you by including you in our meal schedule. We understand how hard it can be between activities, therapy, and doctor appointments to find time to make a home cooked meal. Signing up means receiving home-cooked meals from caring volunteers, giving you more time to focus on the things you love and the people who matter most. Whether your schedule is packed or you're simply in need of a little extra help, we're here to make life a bit easier—one meal at a time.
*Families outside of the DFW or Pittsburgh area, we still invite you to sign up, but we may have logistical issues with having your meals delivered.

Fosterly Friends is always looking for caring individuals who can find time—whenever it works for them—to make meals for foster and adoptive families. While not everyone has the means to be a Foster family, everyone has the means to help support them! One of the most effective ways to provide support for foster families is by making meals for them. Whether you can help once a week, once a month, or just occasionally, your effort makes a meaningful difference. There’s no set schedule or commitment—just a chance to show up with love and support when you’re able. Every meal matters, and every bit of help counts!

Our Story…
“I’m Kristen, a mom to four amazing adult kids, three of which my husband and I adopted while working two jobs. Life was overwhelming at times, and full of love. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to receive help in different forms as we juggled activities, educational meetings, tutoring, therapy, and family time. Outside of the the extra care provided by family, the biggest help we received was when someone made a meal for us. It might seem small, but it gave us back time. Time to sit down and really talk with the kids. Time to play, laugh, and enjoy the little moments that often get lost in the chaos. Those meals didn’t just feed us—they gave breathing room and reminded us that we weren’t alone. That kind of support is something I’ll never forget. Not everyone can foster and adopt, but all can help children in need in an impactful way.
